You may remember that we have learnt how to make the floating snow flake in the past article. Yeah, it is achieved with the help with the JavaScript codes. Now we learn how to make the special effect of wandering leaves. What’s different with the floating snow flake is that we use the timeline and layers to achieve the effect of wandering leaves. But if you have master the technique to make the flash of showing word one by one, you won’t feel difficult in learning this course. Now let us begin.

Step1
Open a new web page in Dreamweaver8.0. Draw three layers that conclude three leaves.
Step2
Select one layer and right click. Select the “add to timeline” command and open the timeline inspector.
Step3
Drag the first layer’s timeline to the thirtieth frame in the timeline inspector. Press CTRL key and add key frame at the tenth and twentieth frame at the same time.

Step4
Select the tenth frame of the first layer. Drag the layer with the tenth frame to the underside.
Step5
Select the twentieth frame of the second layer. Drag the layer to the left in the document.
Step6
Select the thirtieth of the third layer. Drag the layer to the underside of the document until disappearing. Then set the value of the “auto play” and “loop” as true. Like the following image.

Step7
Set the thirtieth frame as hidden, because the leaves can not be floating from the ground to the sky. Save the document and you can see your successful work.

Now you have mastered the basic techniques of the flash in the dreamweaver8.0. There are three key steps. First, add the key frame. Second, set the route line of the objects. Third, set the last frame as hidden state. That is all.
