1. Build a new canvas of 1280*1024 pixels and execute a radial gradient from deep grey color to black in the background, thus making the centre brighter than the surrounding.

2. Find some useful material. Then create a new layer on the background and use paint bucket tool to pad the layer above. Remember to execute the multiply mode to the layer blending mode. Now let’s set some values for this layer: the layer style is outer glow, the opaqueness is 75%, the picture element is 43 pixels and the range of the quality is 50%. The forementioned steps enables the character and the background to merge harmoniously.

3. Download some beautiful brushes and now create a new layer on the character layer. Choose some brushes with white color and 50% opaqueness to add some accessories behind the character. You can build some more layers in order to adjust the position of the decorative patterns easily. After that, we merge these layers and set some values: the layer style is inner glow, the opaqueness is 43%, the origin of the picture element is fringe and the range of quality is 50%.

4. Then create another new layer between the character layer and accessory layer in order to add some new patterns with white color and 100% opaqueness. Set the values again: the picture style is inner glow, the opaqueness is 24%, the size of the picture element is 5 pixels and the range of quality is 50%.

5. Build a new layer onto all the layers and use a normative circular brush with 0 solidity and 200-pixel size, black color of 30% opaqueness, thereby making the character and the accessory part darker. Here comes our final impression drawing.
