Mouse portrait is a very useful and essential skill in the Photoshop environment, as it can be a great of help for us to create new things and it can involve lots of our inspiration. It’s kind of like drawing in reality, however the difference is that we have to apply the mouse tool and some basic knowledge of figure making in the Photoshop. In this tutorial, we will teach you how to draw a beautiful smart eye, and we wish you will get some ideas about this skill after it. Now let’s begin and try it with me.

1. Build a new document of a suitable size, pad white color in the background. Create a new layer and outline the path as the following with the pen tool and then convert it to the electoral district and pad it with black color.

2. Create a new layer and smear it with light grey color in the white part of the eyeball. Then build a new layer again and create a circle district with the pen tool and pad the eyeball with black color.

3. Choose the suitable brush tool and set the control panel with key F5 and draw the canthus with a little red color.

4. Create a new layer and outline the peripheral route of the inner eye line and convert it to the electoral district and pad black color.

5. Paint eye shadow with the purple color and execute add noise step: the quantity is 2% and apply Gaussian distribution with single color. Then use eraser tool to polish the eye shadow part.

6. Go back to the background layer and pad some blue color. Then go back to the eyeball layer and execute the add noise step: the quantity is 21.27% and Gaussian distribution with single color. Lock the layers and add radial blur step: the quantity is 100, scale effect and the best quality. Then add highlight to the eyeball and add an eyebrow and some eyelashes, too.

7. Adjust the light and shade of the background and the color of the body at last and then here is our final product.
