For some certain people, they prefer the photos with a classical color tone among all. In fact, as the actual scene is not always as what we like, we can add this kind of effect with the help of photoshop skills, which can deal with a lot of color toning problems. In this tutorial, we will learn about how to add this Jiang Nan character into the original figure. We will use some color adjustment tools and you can refer to some color schemes in the Jiang Nan water paintings, thus help you command the degree of the color. Now let’s see the comparison and begin it.
1. Open the original material and create the curves layer, then adjust the red and blue channels as follows. (The left one is the set of red channel and the other is the blue one.)
2. Open hue and saturation panel to adjust the red color in the layer, the parameter setting is as follows:both the hue degree and the brightness is 0, and the saturation is +72, then we will get the effect below.
3. Now open the panel again to adjust the green color, the parameter setting is in the following: the hue degree is +131, the saturation is +38 and the brightness remains 0. Make sure that we only remain the raincoat part of the cyclist while the rest should be erased by brush with black color.
4. Open the RGB channel and dim the picture a little. Then create a new layer with the padding color #FAE697, and then convert mixed mode to multiply mode.
5. Create a new layer and choose the gradient: the color setting is black-and-white gradual change with the direction of centre to surrounding. Adjust the gradient map to meet your own taste. Next change the mixed mode to soft light mode.
6. Create a new layer again and seal the layers with the keys Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E, and remove the color and change the mixed mode to color filter mode, and the opaqueness is 30%. At last, we can change the size and modify some details. The impression drawing is there.
