Today we will still focus on the learning of mouse portrait, as it is a very powerful skill to make a fantastic picture. In this tutorial, we will learn how to draw the glass and the bougie. The way to make a glass is a bit difficult, for it needs to produce the effect of light reflection and we have to make it according to the background color and the integral color of the picture. The rest part will be much easier. So we will divide them into two parts. Here is the impression drawing and let’s begin to make it at once.
Make the transparent glass with a certain background
1. Build a new document with white color background. Create a new layer with white color and execute the clouds filter effect. Copy this layer. Back to the layer 1 and execute the emboss effect: the angle is -45, the height is 2 and the quantity is 500%. Then produce the Gauss blur with 2 pixel radius. Next convert to the transfer mode and add the mask. After resetting the color panel, we can use linear gradient with 25% opaqueness. Then merge these layers and name it desk.
2. Create a new layer and draw a rectangular district with dark green foreground color and black background color, then execute the clouds filter effect. Then use spray gun to draw some dark purple.
3. Create a new layer for drawing the flower. Drag the flower pattern with a 17-pixel-size brush of 15 fade-out value. Blur the flower and change the color of its heart. Copy the flower and twirl and free transform them. Next put them together and merge.
4. Draw the branch layer under the flower layer. Merge it with the flower and set 4-value Gauss blur. Create a new layer to draw a oral with padding black and blue color and save it as an electoral district ALPHA 1. Then contract it to 6 pixels and move several pixels upward. Name it glass and use the eraser of low transparency to rub the edge gently to make if half transparent.
5. Create a new layer under the glass part and draw the highlight and shade at the edge of the glass with oral tool, and then merge with the glass layer. Create a new layer of the body. Draw a rectangular and choose the ALPHA 1 to get the electoral district, then pad blue and black color. Then use the perspective effect to reduce the bottom of the glass. Then deal with the radians of the two sides of the glass., the same as the glass bottom.
6. Change the opaqueness of the body to 12%. Create a new layer to draw some shadow where the bougie is lighting with the spray gun. Then modify the opaqueness with the eraser.
7. Create a new layer to load the transparent district of the glass body, and pad light grey color. Make the electoral district a bit upward and delete. Set the inner glow layer style: one pixel size, black color. Then add the shadow effect: the opaqueness is 50% , the distance is 2 and the size is 2. Spray the district with black and green color. Then change to the white color to produce the highlight part.
