Under that kind of situation, the figures with your own signature gradually become an important part to show yourself. Therefore, the skills of making that kind of picture are urgent for you to command. In this tutorial, we will learn this skill. It is not that difficult. What we need is a photo of your own and other auxiliary materials in the Photoshop environment. Let’s see its process and do it yourself. Begin now!

2. Build a new layer and fulfil black color, and then use elliptical marquee tool to make a circle and feather it with the keys Ctrl + Alt + D, the value is 70. Then delete the choice and cancel the electoral district with the keys Ctrl + D.

7. Then we make the add noise effect to the picture: the quantity is 2.5% and use hypodispersion with single color. Next we can change the direction of the picture a little and then add a rake angle effect to the photo. At last, we should build a new layer and build a reflection part and set the mixed mode as transfer mode with 70% opaqueness. Here comes our final product.

At last time, we’ve already learned some skills about how to make a photo sculpture-like. Today we will learn another way to present a photo in a fixed way, that is, portrait. In this tutorial, we will still mention the powerful use of filter and learn more about changing the style of a picture by shifting its picture mode. The following is the impression drawing and original one. Now let’s begin!

1. Open the picture and create a new layer, and build a background with black color on it. Don’t forget to set its mode for hue.

2. Execute the order of CTRL+SHIFT+E to apply the effect of merge visible to the two layer and copy the final one.

3. Choose the option of opposition. (picture → adjust → opposition) And then we set the picture model for color dodge.

4. Then we will execute the following steps: Filter → others → minimum, during this course, we set the minimum of radius for 1 pixel.

5. Double click the copy of background layer, and choose blending options, then what we should do is just to move the number to 94 in the next layer option, at the same time, you should also keep pressing the button ALT.

6. Execute the effect of merge visible. Somewhere in the picture is not that clear, so we use lasso tool to circle these places and execute the disposal of 20-pixel feather effect.

7. Choose the option of building a new layer and creating a curve adjustment layer. Fill in the number of input and output as 153 and 102 in RGB mode. And then press the CTRL key and click the mask icon. Next we choose a selective color adjustment layer, and we set the black color under the neutral color for 46% with the method of relativity.

8. Most steps are over, but if you consider it a little boring, we can add some handwriting words and proper frame on it. See? The final product is kind of eye catching.

Today’s widget is an Image Strip, it has a lot of real uses, but the way I like too use it is for fancy visual effects.
